"A trip to Melbourne is never complete without a meal (or meals) at ShanDong Mama. Been going here for years and I’ve yet to find vegan dumplings as delicious as theirs. Their fried rice and cold dishes deserve a shout out too."

"Ok so if someone said to you Mackrel dumplings - what would be your thoughts? Yep, same as mine - no thanks but let me tell you, they were amazing and not very fishy but had a perfect dumpling skin and a sensational favour with a watered down red vinegar - please do try it.
Smiling service, quick and easy - do yourself a favour and attend."

"The boiled dumplings were plentiful and filled with mackerel. First time we tried it in a dumpling and it was delightful. The Melbourne potstickers were crispy and tasty with its mixture of chicken and seafood."

"If you like your dumplings, this small and unpretentious Chinese eatery hidden away in an arcade off Bourke St is a must. At first glance, prices may seem a little on the high side, but then you see how many dumplings you receive per serve. It's excellent value - and invariably incredibly tasty. Nice staff, too."
